Salman Khan’s Eid gift to fans, ‘Race 3’ arrived at theatres on June 15. The film, high on glitz, glamour and some kickass action, was one of the most awaited releases of this year and released on the joyous occasion of Eid.
Though the film has garnered a mixed response from the critics but it did not stop Khan’s fan from thronging the theatres. The film has recorded a gigantic start and has emerged as the biggest opener of this year. As per experts, the film has collected over Rs 29 crore on its first day.

Salman Khan and Eid have a long history of blockbuster releases. Race 3 turned out to be his sixth Eid release to have made under Rs 30 crores on opening day. Ek Tha Tiger and Sultan, both Eid releases, made over the 30 crore mark upon releasing during the festivities.
