On the 11th anniversary of Shivaji The boss, here are some interesting facts about this great movie

Shivaji The boss is the first Indian movie to cross 100 crores in box office collection only in india with IMDB rating 7.5.

In this movie Thaliva Rajnikanth played the role of Shivaji.

The film revolves around a well-established software systems architect, Sivaji, who returns home to India after finishing work in the United States. On his return, he dreams of giving back to society with free medical treatment and education. However his plans face a roadblock in the form of the influential businessman, Adiseshan. When corruption also arises, Sivaji is left with no option but to fight the system in his own way.

Here are some interesting facts about Rajnikant’s Sivaji which is due for the release in June -2007

1. Director Shankar used 2500 junior artists for the introduction scene of Rajnikant.

2. A huge set of glass house was built to shoot Sahana song.

3. 4K DI (Digital Intermediate) digital camera is used for the first time in India for this film.

4. Helium Balloon light is used to shoot a song. The crew has to use 13 helium cylinders for the lighting.

5. The team of Shankar saw important footages of most of Rajnikant’s films since his debut in 1975. They found that Rajnikant looked best in Padikkadavan (1985) film. Then Shankar summoned the make-up artist to come up with a similar hairdo for Rajnikant 22 years later.

6. Rajnikant donned 15 different hair styles for this film. He also tonsured his head and shaven off his mustache for a get-up in this film. A make-up artist from France is flown in for this purpose.

7. Bellamkonda Suresh is said to have bought the Telugu remake rights (excluding satellite, overseas, ringtones, audio etc) for a whopping 14 crores. It is also learnt that this film is sold for 20 crores in AP (4 crores for Ceded, 6.75 crores for Nizam and 9 crores from Andhra).

8. This is the first ever Tamil movie in the industry records to cross 5-Cr mark in Tamil Nadu Box office history.

9.This is the first ever Tamil movie and first Rajinikanth movie to release in so many screens across the world.

10.This is the first Tamil that was re-released again with 3D-Format.

11.This was the first ever movie to have got an announcement made that the trailer will be released in Kalaignar TV. It made everyone to be hooked to the TV screens.

12.This was the first ever movie to have the special photo shoot for Rajinikanth and was used for the posters.

And the scene in this movie which shows the current scenerio of our country , scene is as

Sivaji(Rajnikant) with black mask on his head is taken to prison by the cops. Meanwhile his supporters throws stuffs like tomatoes on the cops who are taking Sivaji to Jail.

So when Sivaji enters the prison, there is a guy on the other side who is also inside the bars asks him

“Brother, have you murdered someone?

Sivaji: No!

Other prisoner: Have you made fraud in some company?

Sivaji: No!

Other prisoner: Have you made any sex films and uploaded it on internet?

Sivaji: No!

Other prisoner: Then what have you done?

Other prisoner (in a laughing tone): Then jail was for sure brother!!

This scene was Soo deep. The one who tries to do something good for our nation ends up in jail. Reality of our nation!
