BENGALURU: Infosys has been asked to pay its former CFO Rajiv Bansal Rs 12.17 crore with interest, after the arbitration tribunal ruled within the favour of the previous government.
Bansal had dragged the agency to arbitration after it halted payouts on his over Rs 17 crore severance. The Bengaluru-centered IT company had filed a counter claim against Bansal soliciting for the refund of the previously paid severance of Rs 5.2 crore and different damages.
“at the same time as the award recognizes that that Infosys had bona fide disputes, its counter declare for refund of previously paid severance quantity of Rs 5.2 crore and damages, has been rejected… Infosys will take criminal recommendation for essential actions to be undertaken in appreciate of the award,” the employer said in a declaration to the Bombay stock alternate.
