#MeToo movement strikes journalist Vinod Dua, accused of sexual harassment

Mumbai: #MeToo movement is going strong in the fourth pillar of democracy, as journalist Vinod Dua becomes the latest to get accused of sexual harassment.

In a Facebook post, filmmaker Nishtha Jain has accused Vinod Dua of stalking her and sexually abusing her. Jain, best known for her Gulabi Gang documentary, wrote in the post that the incident occurred while hiring for the political satire show, Janvani.

She wrote, “When I read about his outrage against Akshay Kumar’s sexist words to his daughter Malika Dua, I said to myself he’s obviously forgotten that he was no less sexist, no less misogynist, no less creepy a sexual harasser, potential rapist. If he did to me, I’m sure he would have done it to other women.”
