Shubman Gill Updates: Is Virat looking Forward to Shubman Gill’s international debut

So Is Virat looking Forward to Shubman Gill’s international debut ?

Virat Kohli signs off with praise for the young Indian talent coming through. and says this about Shubman Gill :

“I saw him bat in the nets and I was like wow I was not even ten per cent of that when I was 19”

Does Shubman Gill stand a chance to enter Indian squad for 2019 Cricket World Cup 2019 ?

Selection of Shubhman Gill for world cup looks unlikely as he may not get enough opportunities to prove his worth before the world cup.

India looks a settled one day side except for their middle order and this gives some hope to Shubham Gill. However,India will not like to make lot of experiments with their batting at this stage.

They will ideally like to select from Dinesh Karthik, Kedar Jadhav and Ambati Rayudu. If they fail miserably in next two games against New Zealand, Shubham may get a chance. It will be up to him to grab the opportunity.

Shubhman Gill is very young and talented. He has a long career ahead and should not be disappointed if he doesn’t gets the chance this time.
