Kolkata : Meetup with Ex-TMC Leader Kunal Ghosh. After a hole of very nearly six years, suspended Trinamool Congress pioneer Kunal Ghosh on Saturday met party supremo Mamata Banerjee at her Kalighat home here.

Ghosh said it was a “decent gathering” and that he had discourses on a few subjects with Banerjee.

“It was pleasant gathering the central pastor in the wake of six difficult years. It was an open gathering. We had chats on a few subjects,” Ghosh told PTI.

Asked whether the gathering was a stage towards him continuing gathering work, he stated, “I would prefer not to get into all that… In spite of the fact that I had a few contrasts with the gathering over specific issues, I have not changed my political association.”

Ghosh, was captured by an exceptional examination group headed by the then Bidhannagar Commissioner of Police Rajeev Kumar in November, 2013, when he was a Rajya Sabha MP of the TMC, regarding the Saradha chit store trick. He was allowed safeguard in 2016.
