Political accident of 2014 won’t be repeated in 2019 -Uddhav Thackeray

As it has become something of a norm with the party, the Shiv Sena has targetted BJP yet again.

Saying that the political atmosphere in the country is changing, Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray said that the party will come to power in Maharshtra in state assembly elections in 2019 and also become a kingmaker in central government in Delhi.

Thackeray also reiterated his support to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal who is currently protesting against Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor.

Uddhav Thackeray expressed his views in the party mouthpiece Saamana in an editorial on 52nd foundation day of the party.

In the editorial, Uddhav says,’The atmosphere in the country is changing. The political accident of 2014 won’t happen again in 2019. People are asking whether these are pre-emergency days. Jawans are being killed in Kashmir and democratically elected Government in Delhi is being smothered,’

He took potshots at PM Modi as well.

‘The dust storm isn’t hppening just in Delhi but in the entire country. But the PM doesn’t know this as he is constntly travelling abroad,’ said Thackeray in Saamana

Leaders from Assam Gana Parishad met Uddhav Thackeray some days ago and requested him to lead a front of regional parties.

Thackeray said that in spite of being in power with BJP in Assam, the Assamese people’s language and culture is under threat because of the outsiders.

Terming a particular legislation by the centre ‘a black law’, Thackeray claimed that it is against the sons-of-the-soil OF Assam. He said that the law has to be opposed.

Uddhav also alleged that Maharashtra is being attacked and there is an attempt to change the spirit of the state with the help of money power.

He reiterated his stand of fighting 2019 elections without BJP.

‘We will form the government on our own in Maharashtra in 2019. We are confident that we will be the power that will decide who will sit on the the throne of Delhi,’ he concluded.

Also Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal hits out at the politics being played by the BJP. “Didn’t BJP tell us that demonetisation had broken the back of terrorism in Kashmir? Then what happened?” he tweets:
