Rafale won’t be dropped, will wait for CAG report: FM Arun Jaitley
New Delhi : Rejecting claims of a trick in the Rafale military aircraft bargain, Finance Minister Arun Jaitely on Sunday said that whether the planes are purchased at a higher rate or not is an issue for the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) to look at. He stated, independent of the affirmations, the Rafale arrangement won’t be dropped.
“The Rafale bargain is spotless and there is no doubt of dropping it,” Jaitley said in an elite meeting to ANI. He declared that the present Rafale airplanes are less expensive than what Congress-drove UPA government had arranged and included that every one of these statistical data points will be put before the CAG.

Jaitley declared that these planes are coming to India as they are required for security and barrier of the nation.
“These planes are coming to India. They are required for Indian resistance. They will improve the battle capacity of the Indian Air Force (IAF)… This is a spotless government to government bargain. Modi government is the cleanest government in the history while the UPA legislature of 2004-14 was the most degenerate government…By affirmations, you don’t demonstrate anything,” the pastor said.
