Ankit Saxena murder trial: Delhi government appoints counsels Rebecca John and Vishal Gosain
The Delhi government on Friday appointed special public prosecutors Rebecca John and Vishal Gosain to behavior the trial inside the murder of photographer Ankit Saxena. The 23-yr-vintage photographer changed into stabbed to death in February, allegedly by way of the family contributors of a woman he became in a relationship with.

The girl’s own family became reportedly towards their courting, and on February 1 they allegedly killed Saxena in Khyala locality within the western part of the metropolis. 5 days later, the police claimed the lady’s father, Akbar Ali, and maternal uncle Mohammad Saleem had commonplace duty for the homicide and had showed no remorse. The girl’s mom, Shenaz, reportedly claimed that she was now not present at the crime spot and attempted to misinform the investigating officer.
But, in his complaint, Ankit Saxena’s father Yashpal Saxena alleged that once he and his wife went to shop their son, he noticed Shenaz urging her husband to kill Ankit Saxena as she did no longer want everyone to ruin their family’s honour. Yashpal Saxena stated Shenaz beat his wife whilst Akbar Ali stabbed Ankit in the neck with an 8-inch knife.
