Husband and wife hash out their domestic squabbles on the therapist’s couch in the trailer for Mind the Malhotras, Amazon Prime Video’s upcoming Indian original series.

When Rishabh (Cyrus Sahukar) and Shefali Malhotra (Mini Mathur) learn that their friends are filing for divorce, they enroll for couple’s counselling to save themselves from a similar fate. Attempts to spice-up their sex life are punctuated by the many demands of raising three children in suburban Mumbai. The nine-episode sitcom will be released on Amazon Prime Video on June 7.

The Malhotras are a couple going through mid-life marital crisis. Their nok-jhoks seem endless even as marriages around them are falling apart. With two teenage daughters, a notorious son, and an annoying mother in law, life isn’t getting any easier for Rishabh and Shefali. As a therapist tries to make sense of it, we get a sneak into the hilarious yet relatable story of this modern Indian couple.

After another couple friend of theirs files for divorce, Rishabh and Shefali get nervous and visit a marriage counsellor, Gulfam. He’s a quirky, Urdu speaking, Delhi elite who asks them to try role playing to spice things up, but things don’t go as planned. Later, Rishabh decides to order pizza for dinner, but Shefali and their twin daughters scuttle his plan as they are scared of gaining weight.
