A Mumbai-based Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer set off a political line by posting a questionable tweet on Mahatma Gandhi. In a tweet posted on May 17, IAS officer Nidhi Choudhary made critical comments against Mahatma Gandhi and celebrated his executioner Nathuram Godse. Nidhi Choudhary. notwithstanding, later erased her tweet and said her comments were misjudged. IAS officer glorifies Nathuram Godse in her tweet .
On 17 May, Nidhi had tweeted: “What an excellent festival of 150th birth year is going on. High time, we expel his face from our cash, his resolutions from over the world, rename foundations/streets named after him! That would be a genuine tribute from us all! ThankU Godse for 30.01.1948 (sic).” She is as of now posted as Deputy Municipal Commissioner (Special) of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC).
