‘If Govt Employees Don’t Respect, Hit Them with Shoes’: UP BJP MLA

BJP MLA from Uttar Pradesh’s Lalitpur Ramratan Kushwaha told his party workers to hit government officers with shoes if they don’t show respect.

“If government employees don’t respect our workers, then take off your shoes and hit them because there is a limit to patience,” said Kushwaha at a party event.

The BJP leader made this remark while addressing his party workers during a ‘Karyakarta Sammelan Samaroh’ in Lalitpur.If Govt Employees Don’t Respect, Hit Them with Shoes.The election to the 17th Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly was held from 11 February to 8 March 2017 in 7 phases. This election saw voter turnout of 61.04% compared to 59.40% in the previous election.

Furthermore, Kushwaha said that he has information about bureaucrats and police officials who allegedly misbehaved during the elections. “I have information about bureaucrats and police officials with SP and BSP ideologies, who misbehaved with our workers during the elections, threatened our volunteers and asked them to join their party. They should stay wary,” he said.

He warned, “Keep in mind I do what I say.”
